Kim is a graduate of Simmons College where she earned a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science. She is also a professional dog trainer and obtained her certification through the Animal Behavior College. Kim has volunteered with various shelters and animal rescue organizations for the past 15 years. She also deployed several times with the Humane Society of the United States as an Animal Rescue Volunteer. As the human part of a therapy dog team, she is passionate about the bond we have with our pets and has seen first hand how animals can change the response in people who are struggling with various needs. Her mission is to protect this bond by providing support and care to the clients’ in this program. Kim lives in Berlin, MA with her husband Chris, children Owen and Eli, and 4 rescue dogs.
